We are a dedicated group of passionate advocates, united by our unwavering commitment to protect Australia’s cherished Brumbies. Our purpose is to build on what Ian & Michelle have captured through their camera lens for well over a decade. We see what they see; without their dedication to hiking the Kosciusko Mountains, we would never know what we know about our iconic Australian wild horses.
Like many of us, we have been at odds with the government over the situations regarding our Brumbies. They are our heritage and are now ingrained in our culture. These horses have become an integral part of the landscape and what it means to be Australian.
We have a deep-rooted love for our Brumbies; they are spectacular, iconic, and beloved by people worldwide. Yet, we are still fighting to keep them alive and thriving in their natural home. Born wild, they symbolise freedom and deserve respect.
Silver Springs Equine 2024 Inc is not about us, the people behind the name and purpose; it is about the Brumbies.
This is why we have chosen not to put our names or photos on public display on this website. Brumby advocates are often misunderstood in the media and by the government, sometimes seen as overly emotional or biased. However, this perception doesn’t reflect the reality. We are a diverse group of advocates with a wide range of skills, experience, and education. United by a shared passion for cultural and heritage preservation, we work collaboratively with like-minded individuals to protect Brumbies and their significance to Australia.
