Kossi Elf’s 25-Day Adventure: Kossi Elf Celebrates Christmas and the Spirit of Dedication
This Christmas, Kossi Elf takes a moment to reflect on the incredible dedication of Ian and Michelle, whose unwavering passion for the Brumbies and the Snowy Mountains has inspired people around the globe.
Over the past 12 months, Ian has trekked well over 750 kilometers through the rugged and breathtaking terrain of Kosciuszko National Park. With camera in hand, he has captured an astonishing 58,582 photos and videos of the Brumbies and their environment. While many of these moments remain safely stored on his hard drives, unseen by the public, Ian has shared as much as possible, bringing the Brumbies’ story to life for countless people worldwide.
Michelle, too, has walked many kilometers alongside Ian on these journeys. While she hasn’t been on every hike, her dedication to the Brumbies and their story is just as steadfast.Together, their efforts shine a light on the Brumbies’ untamed spirit and the unique landscape they call home.
Kossi Elf’s Christmas reflections wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging this incredible community. Your encouragement, belief, and support have strengthened the mission to protect and celebrate the Brumbies. Kossi Elf’s Christmas Wish:
For the Brumbies to have a future filled with safety, dignity, and recognition as part of Australia’s cultural heritage. May their resilience and beauty continue to inspire us all to protect the natural world and its precious stories.
