White Sox

White Sox’s journey in Kosciuszko National Park is one of resilience and transformation. Once part of a mischievous duo with Reggie, flanking mobs and stirring trouble, he’s now a devoted leader of his own small mob.

After tragedy struck, White Sox found a lone mare and her foal, forming a new family and proving his strength as a protector and survivor in the wild.

Bolt

In the heart of Kosciuszko's wild expanse roams Bolt, a commanding blue roan stallion with a silver shimmer to his coat. Known for his immense size and muscular build, Bolt’s presence exudes power and authority, leaving rivals wary and onlookers in awe.

Paleface
Paleface

In the wilds of Kosciuszko, Paleface, the King of the Mountain, roamed with strength and grace. Known for his pale face and commanding presence, he was a legend among Brumbies. But in January 2020, as fires ravaged the land, Paleface and his mob disappeared, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and the untamed spirit of the mountains.

The Land Project

The Land Project is a dedicated initiative by SSE 2024 Inc. to protect Australia’s Brumbies by establishing a safe, natural haven where these iconic wild horses can thrive undisturbed. The project also complements other initiatives, including re-homing efforts, while supporting a holistic approach to their welfare.

Through education, limited visitor experiences, and ongoing documentation, the Land Project seeks to preserve the heritage of the Brumbies and foster a deeper understanding of their significance, ensuring their freedom and legacy endure for future generations.
