Eight Brumbies. One defining moment.
Silver Springs Equine 2024 Inc. has welcomed the first of many Brumbies into care, marking the beginning of our mission to secure a permanent Brumby preserve. These horses didn’t need saving, until they were removed from their home in Kosciuszko. Now, with your help, we’re creating a future where they are safe, respected, and free to live out their lives with dignity.
It all began with eight, and it continues with you.

In our first official year as a registered charity, Silver Springs Equine 2024 Inc. has laid strong foundations. We’ve applied for DGR status, launched our official website, established vital partnerships, and continued raising funds for our long-term goal, purchasing land to create a permanent Brumby preserve.

While we explored early lease offers, the committee made a thoughtful decision to focus on sustainable, long-term solutions. With community support, we’ve also rescued and cared for eight Brumbies, ensuring they are safe and well-supported.

We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue our mission to protect Australia’s heritage horses.
